DAS Solar, in collaboration with eight PV enterprises, has jointly launched an initiative for standardizing the dimensions of rectangular silicon wafer modules. After the discussion, a unanimous consensus has been reached on the standardized dimensions and long-side vertical hole distance for rectangular silicon wafer modules. As a top-tier photovoltaic brand, DAS Solar strives to reduce costs, enhance efficiency, and accelerate the integration of the industry value chain, thereby facilitating a new phase of collaboration with partnerships within the photovoltaic ecosystem. By advocating for the standardization of module dimensions, enterprises can mitigate supply chain bottlenecks, reduce material waste, and facilitate seamless integration within customer system designs, all while promoting ESG values throughout the industry.
Promoting the standardization of module dimensions for rectangular silicon wafer modules is crucial to tackling the challenges arising from variations in size. Based on the collaborative synergy within the photovoltaic ecosystem, DAS Solar and leading PV enterprises conducted in-depth research and discussions. DAS Solar 72-cell rectangular module will adopt dimensions of 2382mm*1134mm, offering valuable support for the industry's pursuit of standardization and harmonization across the value chain.
As a leader in N-type technology, DAS Solar has optimized module dimensions with eight PV enterprises, enhanced module encapsulation, and introduced an improved module design in update of N-type rectangular modules. As a result, these modules exhibit higher power output and conversion efficiency compared to the previous traditional modules. Currently, DAS Solar's N-type TOPCon cells achieve an average conversion efficiency of over 25.6%, while the 72-cell modules deliver a power output exceeding 620W, with an impressive module conversion efficiency of 23%. These advancements enable lower per-watt costs, significantly reducing the cost per kilowatt hour of electricity generated.
DAS Solar is passionately advocating and spearheading the adoption of standardized dimensions among various enterprises in the industry, as part of their commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR). Moreover, DAS Solar is actively engaged in the "Photovoltaic Module Dimension Standardization Seminar Group," demonstrating its dedication to regular communication and collaboration. With a strong focus on CSR, DAS Solar champions industry-wide collaboration to usher in a new era of sustainable and mutually beneficial development within the photovoltaic ecosystem. By fostering synergy and fostering cooperation, the photovoltaic industry can flourish and reinforce its commitment to environmental stewardship and social well-being.
