Recently, BNEF released the list of solar module shipment for the first half of 2023. With its stable and efficient production capacity guarantee and technologically advanced N-type technology, a hardcore record is delivered by DAS Solar, which ranks 9th in the world.
In recent years, the PV industry’s overall development has displayed an impetuous momentum. According to industry analysis institutions, In the first half of 2023, polycrystalline silicon, wafers, and modules production in China increased by over 65%; 78.42 GW of new grid-connected installed capacity increased by 154% . Grid-connected installed capacity has reached 97.16GW in the first seven months of 2023, surpassing last year's total. BNEF’s forecast indicated that the global installed capacity is expected to reach 392GW in 2023, and the estimated shipment of the top 9 companies in the world will reach 440GW, still showing a vigorous growth trend, with a significant proportion accounted for by the European and American markets.
With a continuous influx of new entrants and rising production capacity, the industry ecosystem has accelerated fierce competition. The opportunity of the “dual carbon” target has also brought many challenges to practitioners. Since its establishment, DAS Solar has firmly chosen N-type technology. After five years of technological accumulation, from the first TOPCon production line in the industry to the current TOPCon 4.0 route, DAS Solar adheres to its original intention, continues to explore, and constantly sets efficiency records.
DAS Solar’s independently developed TOPCon 4.0 core technology achieved new heights in cell efficiency recently. The efficiency of the large-area cell (333.4㎡ in area) exceeded 26.33% and has been awarded the certification report of the latest N-type TOPCon high-efficiency cell by the National Photovoltaic Industry Measurement and Testing Center, setting a new world record for the efficiency of large-scale TOPCon cell. On the path of pursuing technological innovation, DAS Solar never stops. Through a forward-looking layout, we have planned technical routes such as TBC, CSPC, TSIP, SFOS, etc. The cell efficiency can reach up to 40%, continuously playing a benchmark and leading role in PV cell technology innovation. Additionally, on the premise of generating industry consensus through standardization, DAS Solar released the Standardization of Rectangular Silicon Wafer Module Dimensions with multiple enterprises.
In 2023, DAS Solar comprehensively launched its internationalization process, and made its debut at overseas exhibitions in Japan, Germany, Egypt, Thailand, Mexico, etc, earning a good reputation from clients. After the establishment of its German and Australian subsidiaries, DAS Solar will accelerate the overall layout of PV markets in Japan, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and other regions, enabling the company to expand its global footprint.
