Decentralized manufacturing has been at the forefront of DAS Solar's strategic deployment in 2023. DAS Solar has strategically established over 10 manufacturing bases in different locations, including Quzhou city, Taizhou City, Weining City, Jingshan City, Zhangzhou City, Beihai City, Wuwei City, and Dalad Banner. By implementing a decentralized manufacturing approach, DAS Solar has achieved exceptional manufacturing and delivery capabilities. Consequently, DAS Solar was selected into the list of Top 10 solar module shipments by BloombergNEF and the Global Top 3 N-type module shipments.
Taizhou and Quzhou bases: contributing to East China's industrial prosperity
The Quzhou manufacturing base of DAS Solar is located in Quzhou City, Zhejiang province, with a capacity of 6 GW for high-efficiency cells and 4 GW for high-efficiency modules. In Zhejiang Province, the Quzhou manufacturing base has been selected to become a "Future Factory." Also, the Taizhou manufacturing base has a capacity of 5 GW for TOPCon high-efficiency cells and 5 GW for TOPCon high-efficiency modules. With its industry-leading automated equipment, it has been recognized as a 'Smart Manufacturing Demonstration Workshop' in Jiangsu province. In the Quzhou and Taizhou bases, cutting-edge intelligent technology is combined with a green manufacturing philosophy. By introducing cutting-edge equipment and continuously focusing on core technologies, they have achieved digital, smart, and automated manufacturing.
Guizhou base: providing talent development in the southwestern region of China
Currently, the Guizhou base is Guizhou Province's largest and most advanced N-type high-efficiency module manufacturing factory, as well as Weining County's first automated photovoltaic manufacturing line. The total capacity of N-type modules will be 1.8 GW once the base is completed, with an estimated annual output of 3 billion yuan, employing about 500 people. In addition to expanding production, the Guizhou base is attracting individuals with diverse high academic credentials as it accelerates its recruitment. As a result of this high-quality talent acquisition, the local industry will be able to develop at a high level.
Jingshan base: driving the horizontal integration and development of local industries
The Jingshan base is located in Jingshan City, Hubei Province. Its area is 99 acres, and it is planned to construct a 10GW N-type photovoltaic module and a 2GW photovoltaic cell production line. This base will become Central China's largest production base for photovoltaic modules when it is completed. It formulated an industrial investment plan by the government to attract complementary businesses after the commencement of construction at the DAS Solar Jingshan base. Jingshan base has contributed to the continued advancement of Jingshan city’s new energy industry, fostering structural development and a transition towards green energy.
Inner Mongolia base: fostering high-quality photovoltaic development in desert areas
For an efficient N-type TOPCon photovoltaic module manufacturing line and supporting facilities, Dalad Banner base plans to build 5.5GW of total capacity. This base is estimated to generate an annual output value of 8 billion yuan, employing 800 people after it goes into operation. Additionally, the Elion DAS Solar in Ordos plans to construct a 10GW high-efficiency photovoltaic module base in the desert of Inner Mongolia. With full manufacturing capacity, local employment is expected to exceed ten billion yuan annually, creating over 1,000 jobs in the area. Decentralized manufacturing has been a strategic focus for DAS Solar in recent years. Inner Mongolia has made significant progress in controlling desertification and land degradation through initiatives such as photovoltaic control of desertification and the vigorous development of green power generation. These efforts promote the local ecosystem, fostering development in a green and sustainable manner.
Zhangzhou and Dongshan base: advancing the development of offshore photovoltaic scenarios
With a planned module capacity of 6.6 GW, Zhangzhou base is the only photovoltaic module manufacturing factory in the southeastern part of Fujian Province. Once full production is achieved, the annual output value is expected to exceed 10 billion yuan. In addition, the Dongshan base is the only photovoltaic cell manufacturer in the southeastern part of Fujian Province, with a planned capacity of 10 GW for N-type TOPCon high-efficiency photovoltaic cells. The expected annual output value is around 12 billion yuan. By integrating photovoltaic energy with aquaculture, the Fujian fishery photovoltaic construction achieves a seamless fusion of green agriculture and green energy.
DAS Solar will continue to develop a new map for decentralized manufacturing, develop local markets by using local manufacturing, improve shipping efficiency by taking advantage of geographic locations, and empower local low-carbon and green energy.
