Recently, DAS Solar announced that the PV products have passed the wind tunnel test, a test conducted by TÜV SÜD. The DAS Solar photovoltaic modules and flexible mounting system exhibited exceptional stability and reliability during the test.
It is an experimental method for evaluating the performance and stability of photovoltaic modules and flexible mounting system under different wind conditions. During the test, the photovoltaic modules and flexible mounting system are placed in a wind tunnel, where wind speed and direction are adjusted to simulate a variety of wind field conditions, providing a comprehensive assessment of the PV products' performance.
The wind tunnel certification test subjected the DAS Solar modules and flexible mounting system to winds up to 51 m/s, equivalent to the wind velocity of a Category 16 hurricane, to assess their wind resistance. A wind load at various speeds was applied to the surfaces of the photovoltaic modules in order to assess the structural strength and stability. A comparison of indicators such as output power loss and voltage variation under different wind speeds was used to assess the stability and reliability of the modules and systems. As a result of these tests, the DAS Solar PV products demonstrated excellent wind resistance, structural integrity, and long-term durability.
As a leader in N-type technology, DAS Solar continuously enhances its expertise in N-type technology. To ensure the sustainable application of its modules, it optimizes product design and implements rigorous quality control mechanisms. Additionally, DAS Solar adheres to strict quality management, ensuring the high quality of every module by performing triple EL testing during production and comprehensive, stringent IEC standard testing before shipping. Throughout their entire lifecycle, the modules will generate more electricity and return higher returns due to a 15-year material warranty and a 30-year power output warranty.
This test also utilized DAS Solar's flexible mounting system, which proved to be exceptionally reliable and stable when combined with large-size N-type modules. Using prestressed steel strands instead of traditional brackets, this photovoltaic flexible mounting system replaces traditional brackets. East-west loads are supported by two prestressed steel strands, while north-south loads are supported by an inter-row flexible stability wind-resistance system. A spatial cable network structure is formed across the array from east to west and north-south, effectively absorbing external loads and enhancing wind vibration resistance, making the PV plant more stable for years to come.
In addition to demonstrating DAS Solar's strength in research and development, this wind tunnel certification underscores its commitment to PV technology. In the face of green and sustainable development, DAS Solar will continue to lead the way in breakthroughs and innovations in core technologies, contributing significantly to the global green energy initiative.
