DAS Solar shows up at the SNEC with full-scenario PV system solutions

2024-06-13

June 13, 2024, Shanghai (China) - The 17th (2024) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition was grandly held today at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center. This international exhibition provided a platform for discussing future trends in green energy development. As a top-tier leading PV company, DAS Solar displayed latest N-type series products, lightweight modules, full-scenario PV system solutions, smart rapid shutdown system, and small PV systems, demonstrating its leading position in technological innovation and market application.

The conference was jointly organized by 25 international institutions and organizations. Over 6,000 exhibiting companies and more than 600,000 people were expected to attend the 600,000 m²exhibition. As the most professional PV exhibition, SNEC features PV manufacturing equipment, materials, cells, application products and modules, project and system solutions, as well as energy storage and mobile energy technologies, encompassing every segment of the entire photovoltaic industry chain.

The company displayed high-efficiency N-type modules equipped with OBB technology, N-type rectangle modules and Diamond series BC modules at the SNEC, showcasing its relentless innovation. Equipped with self-developed TOPCon 4.0 Plus technology, the 0BB modules have a busbar-free cell design on the front side. This minimizes optical shading and reduces silver consumption. Moreover, the innovative negative spacing design and optimized smaller size of the module surface make the module surface more aesthetically pleasing, meeting market demands while also improving conversion efficiency. DAS Solar's 645W 78-cell bifacial double glass module, 620W 66-cell bifacial double glass module, and 715W 66-cell bifacial double glass module received significant attention. DAS Solar's high-efficiency N-type modules have outstanding advantages in technology, manufacturing, and craftsmanship, as well as high energy yield, efficiency, and bifaciality. These features significantly reduce system BOS and LCOE, ensuring long-term, stable product value and power generation benefits. The Diamond series represents a new generation of products developed by DAS Solar based on high-efficiency BC cell technology.

DAS Solar is dedicated to continuous exploration and rigorous research in N-type technology, consistently surpassing industry standards in cell and module efficiency. Currently, the cell achieved an impressive mass production efficiency of up to 26.6%, and the open circuit voltage of 742mV a world record. With N-type technology at its core, DAS Solar has created a comprehensive technological layout and formulated a "One primary technological path, three auxiliary approaches" strategy.

The new generation of lightweight modules by DAS Solar made a stunning debut and also attracted a lot of attention from attendees. Self-developed high-polymer fluorine composite material, which replaces the traditional PV backsheet. A single-sheet module weighs just 4.2kg/m2 and has a thickness of 4mm, resulting in a 70% weight reduction. They are compatible with a wide range of installation scenarios due to their glass-free lightweight design, which reduces load pressure on the installation surface. Currently, lightweight modules have passed a number of specialized tests, including PID, ammonia resistance, salt spray corrosion, mechanical load, sand and dust resistance, and fire resistance. Additionally, they have been certified by professional organizations such as PCCC, TUV, and CGC.

In addition, the debut of DAS Solar' PV solutions "DAS Urban, DAS Floating, and DAS ECO" made a significant impact. Through its innovative development of PV systems for three key scenarios: water surfaces, ecological environments, and urban settings, DAS Solar addresses the industry's challenge of diminishing land resources for PV plants. Currently, DAS Solar's comprehensive PV system solutions are widely used in a variety of complex and diverse environments, including deserts, water surfaces, mountains, and urban areas, bringing new vitality to the industry. This stability further illustrates the practical, scientific, and reliable nature of DAS Solar's PV system solutions.

Moreover, the company also showcased its smart PV Rapid Shutdown System, integrating advanced power electronics technology and intelligent control algorithms to provide PV plant operators with precise and efficient management. the system features a high level of intelligence and automation, enabling real-time monitoring of PV plant operation status. DAS Solar also displayed a series of portable photovoltaic products, including portable solar cells, lightweight modules, and photovoltaic backpacks, among other portable PV system products. These products are elegantly designed to provide convenient and eco-friendly energy solutions for camping, outdoor sports, and a variety of other scenarios.

Moving forward, DAS Solar remains committed to innovation, efficiency, environmental responsibility, and sustainability. Research and development efforts will be intensified, ensuring DAS Solar products and services maintain competitiveness and contribute to the global advancement of green energy.
