Tel Aviv, Dec. 12, 2024 - DAS Solar, a leader in N-type PV technology, attended a recent conference hosted by its strategic partner Sadot Energy. The event brought together high-level consultants and CEOs to explore key topics such as the latest technologies, future industry trends, product price forecasts, and global market analysis.
The Middle East continues to emerge as a key player in the global solar energy market, driven by a combination of favorable geography, ambitious government policies, and rapid technological advancements. According to MESIA, the MEA region is likely to reach 40 GW of solar installation this year and 180 GW by 2030. It’s estimated that the region could supply up to 40% of the world’s energy by 2050 through “aggressive pursuit of renewable technologies”. In line with these ambitious goals, solar energy is expected to become an integral part of the region’s energy mix, helping to meet growing energy demand while reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
DAS Solar’s participation in this conference underlines the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in Israel and the rest of the region with enormous potential for solar penetration growth. During the event, Joey Zheng, Vice President of Sales for the APMEA region, highlighted the company's rapid expansion in global markets, including the Middle East. In fact, DAS Solar has quickly positioned itself as one of the top players in the industry with TOP8 module shipments globally.
Meanwhile, the company's commitment to R&D and continuous innovation has driven its success, making it a pioneer in N-type TOPCON technology. Zheng presented DAS Solar's high-efficiency N-type modules, which feature the latest TOPCON 4.0 Plus technology. These modules stand out for their high efficiency, excellent reliability, and outstanding adaptability, with the latest generation achieving an average mass production efficiency of over 26.7% and progressing toward even greater efficiency goals. Driven by an unwavering pursuit of excellence, DAS Solar's N-type series has delivered remarkable performance across stringent testing and certifications. Zheng noted that the modules have passed critical testing, including triple IEC-standard tests, IEC63209 tests, uneven snow load tests, and wind tunnel tests, earning the “PQP Top Performer” recognition issued by Kiwa PVEL. Adhering to Germany's VDE module quality standards, these modules are considered as a trustworthy and all-scenario choice for global customers with diversified needs.
In addition, Zheng introduced DAS Solar' DAS Floating, DAS ECO and DAS Urban solutions. Through the innovative development of PV systems for three key scenarios: water surfaces, ecological environments, and urban settings, DAS Solar addresses the industry's challenge of diminishing land resources for PV plants, demonstrating how the company's products can meet the diverse needs of residential, commercial, and utility-scale projects. The flexible mounting systems (ECO) and lightweight modules were also showcased as cutting-edge innovations, designed to address specific challenges such as weight limitations and installation efficiency, which have garnered widespread attention in the Middle East.
As a leader and advocate of renewable energy, DAS Solar's commitment to sustainability and its ESG achievements are not to be ignored. Zheng emphasized that DAS Solar contributes to the global clean transition through its green manufacturing practices and industry's first sustainable development concept - DASGREEN. Meanwhile, the company has made significant strides in reducing its carbon footprint, with its modules helping to lower CO2 emissions globally.
DAS Solar’s participation in this conference underlined the company’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Middle East, a region with enormous potential for growth in the solar energy sector. As the demand for clean energy continues to rise globally, DAS Solar remains committed to delivering high-efficiency solutions that meet the needs of customers in the Middle East and beyond.
