DAS Solar Continues to Rank Among BNEF's Tier 1 PV Module Manufacturers

2025-02-26

Quzhou, Feb. 26, 2025 - DAS Solar, a leader in N-type PV technology, has once again secured a spot on BloombergNEF's list of Tier 1 PV module manufacturers for Q1 2025. With its strong technological foundation, exceptional manufacturing capabilities, and robust global market performance, the company has maintained its position for several consecutive quarters, further reinforcing its leading position and strength in the solar industry.

Pioneering in global N-type TOPCon technology, DAS Solar has steadfastly focused on the N-type technological route since its inception. In 2019, the company proactively set up its first TOPCon high-efficiency cell production line and achieved mass production in 2020, consistently driving breakthroughs in solar cell efficiency and repeatedly setting world records for large-area N-type TOPCon cell conversion efficiency. Currently, the company's TOPCon 4.0 Plus cell mass production efficiency has surpassed 26.7%, with an open-circuit voltage of 742mV. The fifth-generation product is also on the horizon.

The N-type series modules offer a maximum output power of 610.15W, with a full-area module conversion efficiency reaching 24.02%. With superior performance in terms of efficiency, reliability, safety, and stability, the modules are widely applicable in diverse environments, maintaining efficient power generation even in extreme conditions such as deserts and high-altitude areas, demonstrating strong environmental adaptability. Since its launch, the N-type series has been favored by global customers, maintaining a leading market share worldwide.

While continuing to advance TOPCon technology, DAS Solar's innovative steps have never stopped. In collaboration with the University of New South Wales in Australia, the company is co-developing the SFOS technology, a high-conversion-rate, high-stability exciton splitting multiplication material and film-forming technology. This breakthrough technology has the potential to exceed 40% cell efficiency, providing strong impetus for the technological iteration of the industry.

In the meantime, DAS Solar practices an innovative decentralized manufacturing model, optimizing production layouts and improving operational efficiency. Currently, the company has set up more than ten manufacturing bases across China. The robust capacity system lays a solid foundation for global expansion as well. Since 2023, DAS Solar has established subsidiaries in Germany, Australia, Japan, and other regions, deepening local cooperation with many well-known overseas companies. The company not only delivers leading technology and high-quality products to the global market but also offers specialized and customized services based on local market needs as a part of its localized strategy. This “technology + service” model enhances the company's competitiveness in major markets and provides strong support for local energy transitions and sustainable development.

As a pioneer of clean energy, DAS Solar actively employs the ESG principles in its production operations. Leveraging green intelligent manufacturing and renewable energy-driven production, the company's Quzhou, Taizhou, Zhangzhou, and Anhui bases have passed TÜV Nord carbon verification and received ISO 14064 greenhouse gas verification statements. Among them, the Quzhou and Zhangzhou bases have been transformed into the company's two zero-carbon factories, setting new industry benchmarks for green manufacturing.

In terms of supply chain management, DAS Solar collaborates with upstream and downstream partners in the industrial chain to promote energy conservation and emission reduction, while building a sustainable industrial ecosystem. Furthermore, the company continues to invest in research and development of PV module recycling technologies, utilizing purely physical methods and several leading processes to achieve green recycling with zero waste residues, waste liquids, and waste gas emissions, providing innovative solutions for the industry's circular economy.

Maintaining its position on the BNEF Tier 1 list is not only a recognition of DAS Solar's excellence but also a powerful testament to its global market competitiveness. In the future, empowered by N-type technology and all-scenario solutions, DAS Solar will continue to deepen its global market layout and take steady steps to drive the industry toward a new stage of high-quality, sustainable development.
